My current full-time role is Vice President of Growth for Ranchers Beverage Co. / Fair State Brewing. I oversee the sales and marketing teams, as well as lead new product development, generate new co-packing relationships and onboard new distribution partnerships. Fair State is currently sold in 13 states and Japan, and produces 80+ unique beverages annually in the beer, NA, THC and CBD space. Ranchers Beverage Co. currently owns multiple brands and co-packs for a few of the largest THC beverage companies in the US. I am based in St. Paul, MN.

I have spent the majority of my career in operations management or growth and development roles, specifically focused on start-ups, acquisitions or crisis consulting. Over the past two decades I have reinvented, reimagined and reinvigorated dozens of failing businesses, dormant buildings or 2nd generation commercial spaces. By maximizing existing business infrastructure, implementing relevant change or thoughtful conceptual alignment, these projects have achieved massive increases in revenue and profit. Over the years I have also saved a significant number of businesses from going under through financial statement analysis and change management initiatives.

A common misconception in my work was that I was solely a restaurateur. I pursued restaurant businesses primarily due to their high failure rate (constant supply of new opportunities), low valuations (I could get them for free) and no barrier to entry into the field (someone with zero experience or education is constantly looking to do this). I acquired and then sold restaurants for many years until 2020 when I opted to pivot into new industries and endeavors. I enjoyed hospitality, but utilizing and applying sensible business tactics and strategy into other organizations is better suited for my education and experience.
